Cover Revisions

I have been busy updating covers for my first four novels. After looking at what other sci-fi / fantasy cover artists have done, I thought, “I can do that, too!” It’s a lot of work to change covers, but have a look, and tell me what you think.

This is the new cover for “Crisis,” third novel in the series. It’s a completely different concept from the original cover.
I’d contracted with an artist for the original cover for “The Long Journey,” but I never liked the result. However, the book sold really well and it worked. Last year I changed it to fit the style for the rest of the series. Algernon and Kira were featured, without Jhiran present at all. In this iteration, I’ve brought Jhiran back, but this time she has mammal wings instead of feathered wings.

Every iteration of “The Edge of Justice” has featured Garrick and Brenna in some form of this pose. This is the fourth version of the cover I’ve done.
Here, I’ve kept the cover concept but updated the character and background images. I’ve also changed the font color and size to better match the rest of the books.
